	ICI Board The ICI Board consists of the Chairman, Vice Chairman (until June 2000), five Executive Directors and four non-Executive Directors. The Board of the company is responsible for determining the direction and broad policies of the Group consistent with achieving the objective of being the industry leader in creating value for customers and shareholders. Executive Team The management of ICI is through an Executive Management Team headed by the Chief Executive and comprising the Vice Chairman (until June 2000), Chief Financial Officer, five Executive Vice Presidents, the Senior Vice President of Human Resources and the General Counsel (see page 4). The Executive Management Team is responsible for delivering the Group's two major strategic thrusts of driving performance and reshaping the portfolio. The members of the team have an in-depth experience of managing complex international businesses and functions within ICI and other leading companies.
